What are the prerequisites to attend CSM training?

There are no prerequisites to attend the CSM training course. However, it is recommended to have basic knowledge and understanding of Scrum.

In general, the Scrum Alliance doesn’t offer any of the courses online. As it believes CSM training requires more personal interaction for highly interactive training classes and this can’t be achieved effectively in a virtual environment.

How long does it take to complete the CSM training?

The CSM certification course requires 2-days to complete the training which includes both theoretical and practical sessions.

Is training mandatory to take the CSM exam?

Yes, one needs to attend and complete the CSM training course in order to sit for the CSM test.
